Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)/Home Health Aide (HHA), Part Time

Park Place of St. John, an Independent Living Community, located in St. John, IN has an immediate opening for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Part Time for a mixture of Day and Evening hours 7:00AM - 3:00PM, 3:00PM-8:00PM, and 3:00PM-11:00PM. Day and Evening Shift Hours: Mixture of day and evening hours 7:00AM - 3:00PM, 3:00PM-8:00PM, and 3:00PM - 11:00PM. Must be able to work every other weekend.

Summary of essential job functions:

• Responsible for light kitchen duties, cleaning, laundry, etc.
• Make fluids and snacks available between meals and at bedtime.
• Assist in toileting, bathing, and daily grooming of assigned residents.
• Maintain a calm, pleasant living environment for the residents.
• Document changes in medical condition to the appropriate nurses on duty.

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Indiana.
• Preferred licensed Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of Indiana.
• Previous experience in long-term care is a plus.
• Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete the orientation program.
