Decatur Manor, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF), in Decatur, IL, has Immediate Openings for CNAs to join our team. This is a perfect position for someone who has experience working in the mental health field! Must be able to work every other weekend, both Saturday and Sunday.

CNAs work in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team, offering recovery and rehabilitation support and services to those who live in the facility.

Responsibilities of the CNA in a Mental Health Setting

• Collaborate with consumer and treatment team in facilitating therapeutic treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic care plans and activities in a compassionate and caring manner
• Recognize, note, and inform treatment team when a consumer is not at their baseline of symptoms and behaviors
• Assist medical treatment team as assigned
• Help check in all newly admitted consumers and readmissions
• Assist in the transfer of consumers to different rooms
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
• Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

We Will Consider Candidates Who Have the Following Qualifications:

• 21 years of age or older
• Certified or deemed eligible to work in Healthcare in the State of Illinois with no Waivers
• High School diploma and some college preferred
• Some medical or behavioral health experience preferred
• Basic Computer Skills
• Service mindset with compassion, tolerance, and understanding of adults with psychiatric disorders
