Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant - Part Time

In this role you will be:

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.


• Guide patients through therapeutic activities designed to improve function, mobility, and quality of life.


• Document patient progress and responses to treatment in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.


• Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to improve independence and safety in daily activities.


• Communicate effectively with the OT, interdisciplinary team, and family members regarding patient care and progress.


• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, licensing requirements, and facility policies.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• EDUCATION: Associate degree for occupational therapy assistant required


• EXPERIENCE: N/A


• LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
  
  
  
  • BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire required
  
  
  • Valid PA driver’s license with good driving record and access to a vehicle required
  
  
  • Licensed as a COTA in the state of PA required
