Chaplain Pianist

Job Title:  Chaplain Pianist

Location: Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center, White City, OR 97503

Duties:

• Pianist/Song Leader for Sunday Worship Services (Protestant and Catholic) and, on as needed basis, the Funeral and Memorial Services.
• Coordinate with the Chaplains in-charge of the Worship Services to select appropriate songs for each worship service.
• Practice the songs with the members of the congregation for active participation.
• Lead the congregation with the singing of the appropriate and selected songs.
• Play the piano or other instruments to accompany the singing of the songs.

Education & Qualifications:

• Pianist shall be musically proficient on their specific instrument (Pianist), proficient in reading music, and possess experience performing in religious worship settings.
• Experience playing at the church.
