Checker Part Time

A friendly greeting, a smooth checkout, a simple “have a great day” — it all adds up.

If you're someone who likes keeping things organized, enjoys helping others, and works well in a steady, task-oriented role, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do:

• Welcome and greet customers when entering or leaving the store
• Answer customer questions, help them locate items, and provide recommendations
• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit
• Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
• Redeem stamps and coupons
• Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
• Bag or wrap purchases to ensure safe transport
• Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
• Perform other duties as assigned
