Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Cook to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing delicious meals for our assisted living residents using a pre-planned rotating menu. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and flexible.

You will prepare and serve the food. We offer a restaurant style menu in addition to the pre-set rotating menu so flexibility is required. We are a brand new community with opportunity to grow for the candidate who is willing to serve the residents and make them the top priority. The most qualified candidate will be offered the supervisor position.

Responsibilities:

Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment

Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner

Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary

Follow all food safety regulations

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a chef or cook

ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification

Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes

Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure

Excellent time management skills

Strong leadership skills

Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
