About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Child Care Bus Driver to join our team at The Red Barn Child Care Center & Preschool in Clarksville, TN. As a bus driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of children to and from our facility. The current routes are 7:45 am to 9:00 am and 3:00 pm to 4:15 pm. Additional hours could be available if applicants would want to work in before & after school care classrooms as well. Also we have addiitional opportunities to drive for field trips.

Responsibilities:

Transport children to and from the child care center and preschool in a safe and timely manner

Ensure the safety and well-being of all children on the bus

Follow all traffic laws and regulations

Maintain a clean and organized bus

Communicate effectively with staff and administration

Requirements:

Valid CDL with passenger endorsement-F

Current CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain prior to driving duties

Clean driving record

Must be at least 21 years of age

Experience working with children

Friendly and patient demeanor

Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and annual physical

Complete pre-employment training and annual training requirements
