Child Mental Health Therapist - MSW, LMSW, LAPC (PRN Evening/Weekend)

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's mental health and emotional well-being.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
• Provide one-on-one sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Collaborate with parents, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support children's overall development.
• Monitor and document each child's progress towards their therapeutic goals and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Create a safe, welcoming environment that encourages children to express their thoughts and feelings.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current state licensure or eligible for licensure as a Mental Health Professional or equivalent certification.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting.
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and mental health disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
• Ability to create and maintain a safe, supportive therapeutic environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in the mental health field.
