We're now looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to join our team and help us nourish the minds and bodies of our little learners!

Position Overview:
As a Cook at The Learning Experience, you’ll play a vital role in preparing healthy, delicious meals for the children in our care. You’ll work closely with our staff to ensure that every child receives nutritious meals that support their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve balanced, age-appropriate meals and snacks for children.

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Ensure meals meet dietary restrictions and accommodate allergies or special needs.

Work with the center director to plan and adjust weekly menus.

Maintain inventory of food supplies and assist with ordering.

Assist with meal clean-up and ensure kitchen area is tidy and organized.

Foster a positive, welcoming atmosphere in the dining area for children and staff.

Qualifications:

Previous cooking experience, preferably in a childcare or institutional setting.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Strong communication and team-working skills.

A passion for working in an early childhood setting and supporting children’s health and well-being.

Must pass background checks and other safety requirements.

Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
