Job Description - Childcare Closing Cleaner

Once Upon a Childcare is looking for a part-time staff member to help with potty breaks, cleaning, and closing down classrooms.
The ideal candidate can work from 2:00 to 6:00 Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning: Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, taking out the trash, windows, and bathrooms; cleaning playground and equipment; wiping down surfaces and trash cans; cleaning laundry room and doing laundry; and other cleaning throughout the school.

Making sure that all classrooms are stocked with supplies

Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.

Running errands if needed

Eventually closing the building: Making sure all lights are off, doors are locked, and the alarm is set.

We are looking for someone who would be comfortable in the classroom if needed

Desired Skills and Experience:

Experience working with children

Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms

Excellent communication

Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable

Certification in child CPR is a plus

You would need to get an account on PDIS Colorado Shine, where you would be required to take the free courses regarding childcare

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
