Childcare Spanish Teacher

Magic Memories Phoenixville is seeking a passionate and dynamic Part-Time Spanish Teacher

** Interested in full-time hours? Additional responsibilities may be added, and candidates may be considered for a floater role supporting multiple classrooms within the center **

Responsibilities

•  Deliver a Spanish program that supports emotional, physical, intellectual, and social development

•  Engage children in Spanish through group activities focused on colors, shapes, numbers, and sharing

•  Foster a warm, respectful, and affectionate classroom environment

•  Create lesson plans aligned with center themes and developmental goals

•  Collaborate with other teachers to ensure consistent communication with families

•  Observe, record, and report significant behaviors and milestones

•  Attend monthly staff and director meetings

•  Communicate supply and equipment needs to the Director

•  Ensure classroom safety, compliance, and proper caregiver designation

•  Maintain Department of Human Services regulations, including classroom ratios

•  Support additional center activities as needed

Requirements

•  Fluent in Spanish

•  Minimum 2 years of experience working with children

•  One of the following educational qualifications:

  ⁠◦  Bachelor’s degree in ECE, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services

  ⁠◦  Bachelor’s degree with 30 credit hours in the above fields + 1 year of experience

  ⁠◦  Associate’s degree in the above fields + 2 years of experience

  ⁠◦  Associate’s degree with 30 credit hours in the above fields + 3 years of experience
