Childcare Worker

I-CAN Kids is the not-for-profit child recreation program at Arrow Ford. I-CAN Kids offers a no-cost childcare option for Arrow employees for school-aged children. The I-CAN Kids program was created in response to the difficulty of finding safe and reliable childcare for dealership staff who work later in the evenings or on Saturdays. The staff at I-CAN Kids create a safe and engaging environment for our children to enjoy after school, on Saturdays, on school holidays and summer break.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a daily census of up to 20 school-aged children


• Follow and contribute to the inclusive, faith-based curriculum outlined by the I-CAN Kids Director


• Maintain a safe environment for teachers and students alike


• Foster positive relationships between I-CAN Kids students, staff, parents, and all Arrow Ford leadership


• Follow all state, local, and organizational policies and regulations

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work


• CPR training strongly preferred – resources available to get certified once hired


• Availability to work evenings and Saturdays


• Ability to pass all pre-employment testing including background check and drug screening
