Cleaner - Custodial (Night Shift)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner - Custodial (Night Shift) to join our facilities team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure that buildings, offices, and public spaces are maintained in a clean, orderly, and safe condition during off-hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.


• Clean and restock restrooms with supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.


• Empty trash and recycling bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.


• Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as door handles, elevator buttons, and railings.


• Maintain cleanliness of breakrooms, kitchens, and common areas.


• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums safely and efficiently.


• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines for cleaning products and equipment.


• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or supply needs to the supervisor.


• Comply with site-specific security protocols if applicable.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred but not required.


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


• Must be physically able to perform manual labor including lifting up to 25 lbs, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.


• Ability to read and follow written instructions and safety labels.


• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.


• Must be able to pass background check and drug screening (if required).
