Job Description - Cleaner/Facilities support

Central Bark Poughkeepsie is looking for hardworking and dependable individuals who will work alongside us to ensure operational excellence. Job tasks include assisting with maintaining facility cleanliness in such areas as dog daycare play groups/boarding kennels, yards and accompanying grounds. Caring for dogs as needed alongside dog daycare Enrichment Specialists. At Central Bark, we always look to grow from within. Specific duties include but are not limited to:

Perform daily cleaning, and weekly deep cleaning of kennel and related outdoor facilities.

Clean, fold, and stock laundry.

Provide basic care for dogs on site if needed

Qualifications:

18 years or older

Experience with, and comfortable with dogs/animals

Reliable Transportation

Open availability to work day mostly evening shifts from 3:30pm - 7:30pm daily

Physical requirements:

Must be able to work in all weather conditions

Must be able to work standing or sitting for 4 or more hours

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs

Must be detail-oriented and situational awareness

Must be able to bend and kneel repeatedly

Work remote temporarily due to COVID-19.

Compensation: $15.00 - $16.00 per day
