Cleaning and Sanitation Professional Position Overview:

PlanITROI is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Cleaning & Sanitation Professional for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a 90-day conversion period to ensure our manufacturing facility is kept clean, safe, and compliant with health, safety, and environmental standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a productive and healthy work environment by performing thorough cleaning, sanitation, and waste management in production areas, common spaces, and offices. 

Part-Time: 8:00 AM- 1:00 PM 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of manufacturing floors, production equipment exteriors, break room, restrooms, offices, and common areas.


• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces following facility cleaning protocols.


• Remove trash, recycling, and production waste safely and promptly.


• Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and vacuums.


• Replenish supplies (paper towels, soap, sanitizer, cleaning products, etc.) as needed.


• Follow strict safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.


• Maintain cleaning logs and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and facility sanitation standards.


• Collaborate with the production team to minimize disruption during cleaning activities.


• Identify and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.


• Manage deep cleaning projects and seasonal sanitation tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial, industrial, or manufacturing facility cleaning is needed.


• Familiarity with sanitation protocols and safe chemical handling.


• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.


• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.


• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods

Work Environment

• Work performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature fluctuations.


• Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and masks.


• Standing and walking for the shift; lifting to 50 lbs. occasionally.

The expected salary for this position is $15.00-$16.00 per hour. Upon conversion, PlanITROI offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and more.
