Role Title:  Client Engagement Specialist

 Reports to: Agency Owner 


                        


 




Objective:


To drive agency growth and retention through proactive client engagement, strategic marketing, and seamless service execution. This role blends customer relationship management, retention strategy, and marketing execution to expand households in force, increase lines per household, and enhance brand visibility.




 




Agency Responsibilities:




  • Retention Strategy: Develop and implement tactics to boost customer retention and increase lines per household. Use data to identify trends and adjust strategies for better household persistency.


  • Tool Utilization: Use company tools to identify and mitigate retention risks through targeted strategies.


  • Customer Engagement: Proactively address customer concerns, particularly around rate increases, offering reviews and tailored solutions.


  • Process Optimization: Identify areas within the agency where process improvements could enhance retention and growth.  


  • Culture Building: Partners with agency owner in fostering a culture of positivity and continuous improvement within the agency.


  • Agency Growth: Proactively engage with policyholders internal marketing lists, cross-sell opportunities, and new business prospects to expand multiline households.


  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and attract new clients, while maintaining strong relationships with existing policyholders.  Strengthen engagement through social media, marketing events, and personalized agency interactions to build long-term relationships.

  • Proactivity:  Takes a proactive approach to identifying and solving current and future obstacles.   This includes updating and documenting outdated processes or developing and executing new processes for increased results.


  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform decisions and optimize retention strategies.


  • Creativity: Develop engaging content and innovative strategies to improve retention.


  • Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, independent work planning, and task prioritization.


  • Customer Focus: Enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through personalized support and engagement.


  • Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks.


  • Continuous Improvement: Commitment to ongoing professional development and self-reflection for personal and professional growth.


  • Software Proficiency: Strong experience with Microsoft Office and familiarity with digital tools such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

 




Education/Licenses/Designations 


·         Individual would be required to attain their Property, Casualty, and Life licenses within 30 days of employment.  Direction on this licensing is provided, and the costs will be reimbursed. *  
·         Valid driver’s license required.
·         Participates in necessary continuing education to maintain insurance designations. 




 




Working Conditions 


·         General Office Setting
·         Monday – Thursday:  9:00AM – 5:00PM  and Friday 9:00AM – 1:00PM


Non-typical schedules (evenings or weekends) may be necessary on occasion for marketing events 



Compensation: $15.00 per hour








This position is an Agency Team Member working for the Agency Owner and is not an employee of American Family Insurance.
