Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Program Director to join our team! As a Clinical Program Director, you will oversee all of the day-to-day operations of the clinic and staff. This will include hiring and training staff, overseeing programs and developing both current and new programs, ensuring regulations on a state and federal level are being followed properly, and continually maintaining client and staff satisfaction. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, focused, and has a clear understanding of what it takes to run a successful clinic.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations for the clinic, including services delivered, safety regulations, and current and future programs
- Ensure proper record keeping and compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Design and oversee culturally competent mental health programs tailored for underserved communities including refugees and immigrants.
- Recruit new staff and ensure current staff are up to date on current training procedures
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff, including therapists, counselors, and case managers
- Attend a variety of training workshops and work-related meetings and events to stay up to date on the latest expectations and regulations
- Provide occasional direct client care and crisis intervention support as needed
Qualifications
Education & Licensure:
- Master’s or Doctorate in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Active clinical license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Ph.D., or Psy.D.) in North Carolina or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience as a Clinical Program Director serving underserved communities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and any EHR Vendor platform
- The ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and prioritize based on current and changing needs
- Exceptional team building and interpersonal skills are essential for this role
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Cultural competence and passion for serving diverse communities
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, Medicaid, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in other languages such as : French, Swahili, Lingala, Creole, French Creole and Spanish is and added advantage.
