Job Description - Clinical Supervisor - Part Time

Description

SCOPE

As SKSF’s Clinical Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising and mentoring approximately 4 behavioral health staff members providing a range of services through and in conjunction with El Paso County DHS (advocacy, life skills, intensive family services, family preservation). This role primarily will be focused on providing guidance on clinical skills, treatment planning, documentation, ethical practices, and adherence to state regulations to allow for billing of services through Medicaid and CORE. 

Part Time (choose your own hours!)

$60 - $75 per hour

Duties

  • Provide clinical supervision to staff, guiding their development and ensuring quality delivery of care.
  • Review case notes, treatment plans, and client progress with staff to ensure they meet professional standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Conduct individual or group supervision sessions, offering constructive feedback on therapeutic techniques and clinical decision-making.
  • Ensure that staff are adhering to state and ethical standards in their clinical practice.
  • Assist in developing a diverse skill set, including implementing evidence-based therapies, crisis intervention, and handling complex cases.
  • Support staff with ethical dilemmas, boundary issues, and clinical challenges they may encounter.
  • Offer guidance on clinical documentation to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely record-keeping.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and evaluations of intern performance to foster professional growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of all supervision sessions, including notes on staff progress and areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on state licensure requirements, clinical best practices, and ethical guidelines.

Requirements

  • Must be licensed by DORA as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT or Psychologist
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferred
  • Experience working in a Child Placement Agency preferred or Child Welfare Agency
  • Strong communication skills required
  • Experience in handling mental health crises
  • Ability to work in high-stress situations
  • Comfortable working with clients who have developmental and intellectual disabilities
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to use an electronic health record to document clinical work
  • Exhibits significant reliable habits, including timeliness and organizational skills
