Mid-America College of Health Sciences is seeking a Nurse Aide Instructor to join our team. Our instructor of choice will have excellent people skills, be able to provide students with the skills and knowledge they will need to, not only obtain good job placement, and also to able to perform quality CNA role in a diverse health care environment. This is a part-time position with hours Thursday-Saturday from 2:00pm to 9:30pm.
Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Effectively present in-class lectures and demonstrate good hands-on lab skills that are consistent with course syllabus, policies and procedures related to the program.
- Provide students with timely feedback on academic progress and be able to address any concern registered by students where applicable.
- Adhere to applicable regulatory standards and policies and procedures of the institute.
Education and Experience:
· Active Registered Nurse (RN), Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
· 2-3 verified experience in acute care setting.
· 2-3 years long term care experience.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Active CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association (AHA).
