Job Summary
Caregiver at Visiting Angels – Largo has several caregiver positions available throughout Prince George's County. This individual contributor role is responsible for providing a high level of professional and compassionate in-home care services to our clients. In this important role, you will serve as the reliable link between our clients and the Visiting Angels team.

Compensation & Benefits
This is a part-time hourly position with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and professional assistance with ADL's and IADL's to clients in their own homes, including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, medication reminders, and emotional support.
• Track all daily visits in completion of accurate and thorough documentation and provide feedback to Visiting Angels management for each case.
• Reliable, responsible, and dependable in client visits as scheduled.

Requirements

CNA/GNA/HHA Certification Preferred 

• High School Diploma/GED
• CPR in-person or online certification

• Current TB results "or" chest x-ray
• Minimum of one year of experience providing care to clients within home health care or in-home care setting
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds
• Demonstrated ability to work professionally and compassionately with elderly clients
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable method of transportation
• Quick problem-solving abilities and excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
