CNC Machine Operator - second shift

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for daily operation of multiple CNC turning equipment in a fast-paced environment.
2. Produce conforming parts within allotted time to meet production scheduling requirements
3. Comply with all Vincent Bach policies and procedures
4. Comply with all safety procedures ad PPE requirements, and tag-out procedures
5. Maintain a clean and orderly work area as per our 5S guidelines
6. May be asked to help with other duties as needed to support he department

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

1. Interpret instructions for making parts based on M.O., Setup Sheet, and Inspection form.
2. Set-up, edit, troubleshoot, and operate CNC lathe as required to produce quality parts
3. Organize and inventory area tooling
4. Fill coolant tanks, as necessary
5. Move product to Ramco
6. Record all incidences that cause down time
7. Perform 5S duties as required
8. Other duties, as assigned

PRE-DETERMINED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Ability to set up CNC programs
2. Ability to use micrometers, pin gauges, calipers, rim cast, PLC
3. Regular attendance
4. Safety conscious

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to lift a maximum of 35 lbs unassisted; occasional lifting over 35 lbs with assistance
2. Ability to stand for extended periods of time
3. Frequent bending/stooping, squatting/crouching, reaching
4. Occasional pushing, pulling, fingering, grasping
5. Exposure to noise and oils
6. Ability to work alone, make judgments, perform repetitive work, perform under stress, and attain tolerance to set standards

MUST HAVE CNC EXPERIENCE MIN 1 YEAR
