Coating Machine Operator - 2nd shift

JOB TITLE: Coating Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

DEPARTMENT: Coating

REPORTING TO: Production Supervisor 

PRIMARY FUNCTION OF POSITION: 

Associate will be knowledgeable in the preparation of PCB’s and assemblies for conformal coating, thorough understanding of machine operation, material mixing, application and quality requirements.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

• Set-up, operate and perform routine maintenance of conformal coating equipment.
• Preparation of PCB’s and assemblies for conformal coating
• Mixing of coating material
• Operation and set-up of both automated and manual conformal coating
• Perform conformal coating inspection and touch-up as required, responsible for quality of product produced from coating machine
• Reliably produce quality workmanship consistent with IPC or equivalent standards.
• Pass IPC certification for CIS including all Libra required modules.
• Able to follow written instructions and provide feedback.
• Cleaning and housekeeping in accordance with requirements
• Perform other tasks as assigned within the qualifications and training received.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School diploma or GED
• Previous work experience where attention to detail was a primary job requirement

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification 
• Basic knowledge of Windows based computers, MS Word and Excel 
• Minimum one year electronic manufacturing experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• This position will work in both front and shop environments.
• In the shop, you will be exposed to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, machines, and material handling vehicles. PPE is required in this shop area. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• While performing duties of this job, the employee is required to have good hearing and sight. 
• You will need to be able to walk the shop floor and be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
