Cody's Clinic Receptionist

Cody’s Clinic at SPCA Westchester is seeking a friendly and organized receptionist to join our team. Cody’s Clinic is a state-of-the-art, high-volume high-quality practice offering low-cost care to those in need, while also providing medical care for our Rescue Center’s animals and making a difference in the lives of homeless animals.

The Cody’s Clinic Receptionist provides overall administrative assistance to clinic staff and management. This position is also the primary contact with visitors and clients.

Part-Time and Full-Time positions available, 8:00-4:30 pm. 

Starting hourly rate of $16.50 + per hour, to commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in clients for appointments. Ensure that proper forms are completed prior to appointment.


• Answer phone calls and respond to messages in a professional and courteous way.


• Schedule and manage daily appointments.


• Input medical data and patient account information.


• Support clinic staff by providing pre-and-post operative instructions to clients, as well as other clinical information.  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Friendly and helpful personality and enjoys engaging with the public and their animals. 


• Good organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy in work.


• Prior experience in customer service with a level of comfort working at a busy front desk.


• Strong phone, computer, and customer-service skills.


• Spanish speaking, a plus.
