Executive Pastor
This position supervises the College Women’s Director and College Administrator, and the College Pastor will work closely with other staff as needed.
WEEKLY HOURS
24 hours
Monday through Thursday in office and Sunday at church.
Flexible.

Part-time, non-exempt
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The College Pastor is responsible for ensuring all aspects of spiritual growth and development of college-aged students who attend Antioch Community Church. This includes leadership for all programming, teaching, events, and management in support of the overall vision, mission, and purpose of the church. The College Pastor also expands the reach of our college ministry by creating new initiatives, in new places, to reach new students for Christ.
Pastoring & Leading
Provide pastoral oversight for the College Zone.
Cast vision for the college ministry to inspire them towards the fulfillment of Antioch’s vision and mission.
Strategically lead college ministry through the wise development of Lifegroups, events, leader trainings, and other elements as needed.
Ensure each Section and Lifegroup is properly pastored.
Serve as a speaker for college nights or other college gatherings as needed.
Leadership Development
Ensure that the Method of Ministry is being implemented through Sections and Lifegroups.
Build bridges between college life and the overall life of Antioch, creating a pipeline of young leaders who can step into leadership.
College Team & Administration
Develop the college team through the Method of Ministry.
Lead the college team.
Oversee the College Ministry budget.
Ensure the creation of an annual college calendar that will encompass all programming needed to fulfill desired goals.
Discipleship
Disciple leaders and meet with students as needed.
Create a discipleship culture within the college ministry.
Establish a prayer culture for the college ministry.
Have a presence on college campuses surrounding Antioch Community Church at Texas A&M, Blinn
Develop a student leadership team that creates opportunities for college-aged individuals to learn about Jesus, build community, and live out their faith.
Outreach & Missions
Collaborate with student leaders to develop and implement a plan for relational evangelism on college campuses on a regular basis.
Create opportunities for students to grow and serve experientially through local and international mission trips, community service projects, etc.
Serve as the primary recruiter for college-led summer mission trips.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
At least two years of working as a team leader in a volunteer role or at work
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong leader with a solid work ethic.
Effective communicator (verbal, written, and body language).
Excitement for creating and implementing new ideas.
Vision caster who can clearly communicate what could be and how people can be a part of it.
Licenses, Registrations, & Certifications:
Not required
CHARACTER REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated commitment to the Christian faith and the mission and vision of the church.
A personal relationship with Jesus and a passion for reaching college campuses.
