Comfort Home Care Solutions, a new healthcare business in the heart of San Antonio, TX, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to join our team. Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate, personalized in-home care to individuals in need, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance.
Perform light housekeeping duties, such as tidying up living areas, laundry, and meal preparation to create a comfortable and clean environment for clients.
Foster strong relationships with clients and their families, actively engaging in conversations while offering emotional support and companionship.
Accompany clients on outings, shopping trips, and appointments, ensuring their safety and security at all times.

Requirements:
Previous experience in personal care or a related field is preferred.
Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, their families, and other team members.
Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and protocols accurately.
Compassionate and empathetic nature, treating clients with dignity, respect, and kindness.
Reliable and punctual, demonstrating flexibility in work schedules to meet client needs.
Must undergo a background check
Reliable transportation are necessary for client visits.

Job Conditions:
The ability to access clients' homes, which may not be routinely wheelchair accessible, are required. Hearing, eyesight, and physical dexterity must be sufficient to perform a physical assessment of the client's condition and to perform client care/services. Required to bend, stoop, reach, and move client. Lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing. Part-time and full-time positions.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
BLS certification preferred
Must have completed a minimum of 5 training videos, which includes an introduction to personal care services.
Must comprehend the basics of personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation.
Must understand and respect clients' including ethics and confidentiality of care.
Ability to to perform duties requiring prolonged standing, walking, stooping, bending, and lifting
Basic knowledge and understanding of PPE protocols and universal precautions.
Must be able to understand, read, and write English. Dual language speaking is a plus.
