Patient Centered Services – Homecare is seeking a compassionate, high-energy female caregiver to provide companion care to an older adult client living independently in Herndon, VA (ZIP 20171). The ideal candidate is engaging, dependable, and pet-friendly, with a passion for working with individuals experiencing memory loss.
This is a great opportunity to support a vibrant, social client who enjoys conversation, light routines, and daily dog walks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and social engagement
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Offer medication reminders
- Encourage and participate in light daily routines
- Accompany the client on short dog walks
- Maintain a safe and supportive home environment
Ideal Candidate:
- Female caregiver preferred, per client request
- Must be energetic, patient, and personable
- Experience with dementia or memory care is a plus
- Comfortable around dogs
- Reliable transportation is required
- Must pass a background check
