Companion Caregiver

Elderly Companion Caregiver - MUST Enjoy Card Games!

Generations Home Care LLC is seeking a kind, patient, and reliable Companion Caregiver to provide friendly support and companionship for an older adult who enjoys good conversation and lively games of Gin Rummy (and other card game favorites). Preferred candidate will know how to play Gin Rummy, family will teach if you do not know how to play. If you enjoy playing card games and having good conversation, this job is for you. Current schedule is 3 times weekly for 4 hours each day (12:30-4:30 pm).

Responsibilities:

• Providing companionship and engaging in daily conversation


• Playing Gin Rummy, card games, or other games


• Helping to create a positive, uplifting environment


• Clock in and out of Shift via our on-line App


• Documentation of Visit in our on-line App

Qualifications:

• Caring, Compassionate and Warm Friendly Personality


• Know how to play gin rummy (family will teach)


• Current CPR, 1st Aid and Proof of Negative TB


• Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (if you have)


• Be Able to Pass a Background Check


• Be Able to Lift 25 Pounds or More
