Job Description - Companion Caregiver Part-Time Position

Benefits:

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic caregiver to provide companionship and supportive assistance to a young woman with mitochondrial dysfunction and an autoimmune disorder. This is a part-time position focused on helping her live a fun, active, and engaging life in the community.

Responsibilities include:

Supervising and supporting her during community outings

Helping her understand money and budgeting in real-world settings

Engaging in activities such as dancing, visiting the park, swimming, and light exercise

Providing assistance with hair washing, dressing, and occasional bathroom needs

Requirements:

CPR certification or willingness to obtain it

Level 2 background check

Experience with developmental or physical disabilities is a plus

Reliable transportation

Patience, positivity, and a genuine interest in making a difference
