Companions / Sitters Needed – Smyrna, GA

Position: Companion / Sitter
Location: Smyrna, GA
Schedule: Part-time, flexible based on client needs
Pay: $14–$16/hour

Job Description:
We are looking for compassionate, dependable Companions to support clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll provide meaningful companionship, help with daily routines, assist with personal care as needed, and transport clients safely in the community—always with respect, dignity, and a warm heart. This is a non-judgmental, client-centered role where your presence makes a real difference.

Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and support daily routines


• Assist with personal care needs as required: standby, moderate, max, or total care (examples: HOYER lift, catheter care, mobility support)


• Transport clients safely in the community


• Encourage hydration, nutrition, and proper self-care


• Observe and report changes in client needs


• Maintain open communication with office staff

Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification


• Current TB test


• Compassion, professionalism, and reliability


• Willingness to transport clients in the community


• Previous caregiving experience is a plus, especially experience with various levels of personal care


• Ability to pass a background check


• Dependable transportation
