Job Description - Connections Coordinator

JOB TITLE: CONNECTIONS COORDINATOR 


 


JOB OVERVIEW: The Connections Coordinator will advance Hill City Church’s mission– Together we love God, love others, and make disciples of Jesus Christ– by leading and enhancing the church’s guest assimilation and connection strategies. This role is pivotal in fostering a welcoming environment, guiding newcomers into meaningful relationships, and ensuring a seamless integration in the church community. 


 


HOURS: 20 hours per week



RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:



SUNDAY MORNING: 



  • Coordinate and Host Hospitality Team

  • Manage Communion Team and Materials

  • Duties as Assigned by Senior Director of Communications



CONNECTIONS: 



  • Overall strategic organization and facilitation of connections assimilation processes and efforts.

    • Manage church-wide Serve Form process and follow ups.

    • Manage church-wide New Guest form and follow ups.

    • Manage Planning Center People and profiles.

    • Lead and modify existing connections processes to develop more effective strategies as we grow.



  • Coordinate and host First Things First & What’s Next Class

  • Coordinate Covenant Member Class

  • Coordinate Baptism process 



HOSPITALITY:



  • Lead and organize the hospitality team and processes.

    • Roster Upkeep - very people-oriented and personal

    • Weekly onboarding of new volunteers

    • Monthly Scheduling and weekly communication

    • Lead and modify existing hospitality team processes to develop more effective communication and organization as we grow.





STAFF: 



  • Monthly Staff Huddle 

  • Training, organizational development, and processes required of all staff

  • Adhere to all HR policies and procedures 



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • 2+ years experience in leading adult teams or similar experience

  • Loves and proclaims Jesus

  • Detail-oriented and organized self-driver who is able to take general direction and produce results

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Track record in serving through the local church

  • Highly trustworthy
