Consent & Device Recovery Coordinator - Part Time

InfuSystem is a growing healthcare company that provides infusion pumps and related products and services for patients in hospitals, clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, and other sites of care from five locations serving all 50 states and Canada.  We deliver improved patient outcomes and high patient satisfaction.

Service is always our highest priority.  Patients and clinicians in more than 1,800 sites of care trust InfuSystem as their full-service source for cost-effective infusion pump services.

SUMMARY:
The Consent and Device Recovery Coordinator will be responsible for managing a productive workload and achieving meaningful results by recovering devices from patients as well as signed consent documents utilized for billing. The coordinator will need to maintain professionalism and represent InfuSystem’ s core values throughout their day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills, ability to handle stressful situations, capacity to function independently, and the ability to document meticulously. The required working schedule for this may include limited weekend coverage. The candidate must have a dedicated workspace, reliable internet, and cellular phone service.

IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

• Manage time and workload effectively


• Place outbound calls to patients to obtain consent sign off allowing InfuSystem to bill for services rendered. This includes consents for all InfuSystem service lines.


• Place outbound calls to patients to recovery InfuSystem owned or allocated medical devices. (i.e. infusion pumps, pain infusion pumps, Negaitve Pressure Wound Therapy devices)


• Document detailed information obtained from outbound device or consent recovery calls serving as a liaison between our patients, customer service and revenue cycle.


• Commitment towards meeting the objective of InfuSystem, work productivity and quality standards


• Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned

No supervisory responsibilities

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-3 years’ experience in the healthcare industry


• Medical terminology, required


• Strong listening skills
