How you will make an impact: 

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and appetizing meals for residents, following dietary guidelines and food safety standards. Duties include cooking a variety of foods such as soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts, as well as measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes. You’ll monitor cooking temperatures, taste and test food for quality, and properly portion and plate meals with appropriate garnishes. Additional tasks include prepping fruits and vegetables, preparing snacks, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen, assisting with dining area cleanup, and helping develop and manage the dietary staff schedule.

Schedule: This is a part-time position. 

What you will need: 

• Knowledge of food safety and food preparation. 
• Healthcare setting experience (Preferred).
