COOK Part-time

✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth!  Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Part-time Cook at The Cypress Creek Juvenile  Correction Center in Lecanto, FL✨

Cypress Creek is a max security residential program for at-risk male youth. Through our trained programming for staff, we promote a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. We welcome ALL who are passionate about making a difference! SHIFTS : Typical schedule: Five or less days per week, schedule set by facility need and may be modified as needed to ensure coverage.

Pay: $19.00 

What you will do: Ensure that Healthy and tasty food is prepared in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local requirements. Perform duties in prepping and cooking of food, and maintain constant sanitary practices in prepping, cooking, and serving areas. 

~Position Requirements: Two years’ scratch cooking experience. ServSafe Food Handlers Certification, (Manager Certification is a plus but not required) is required within sixty days of starting employment. Not to exceed 24hours per week.

To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test ~ Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's License
