Cook - Summer Camp

Pay rate will be $15.45 per hour. This is a seasonal position.

Are you looking for some additional income? Come join our team of cooks who bring fun foods and desserts to our campers!  The Summer Camp Cook position is a seasonal position from June 8, 2025 through July 19, 2025.

Scheduled shifts (hours may change each week depending on the camp session):

• Monday through Friday - Dinner 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm
• Sunday - 7:00 am to 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm (some Sundays may be only 7:00 am to 1:30 pm)

A snapshot of what you'll do:

• Prep, cook and serve meals
• Adapt menus to those with dietary needs
• Maintain safety and sanitization standards in the kitchen and dining hall

Qualifications:

• Compassion for working with children and adults with disabilities and special needs
• High School Diploma/GED; and six months related experience and/or training
• Experience cooking in a commercial kitchen is preferred
• Ability to lift and or move up to 50 pounds
• Good knowledge of proper sanitary practices
• Punctual, responsible and self-motivated
• Food handler's certification preferred
