Coordinator - Kid Zone

We’re hiring a Kid Zone Coordinator to lead our child care services for children ages 6 weeks through elementary age. This role is perfect for someone passionate about youth development and community impact.

What You’ll Do:

As the Kid Zone Coordinator, you'll be responsible for overseeing our Kid Zone program operations and ensuring a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment for children. You’ll lead a team of staff, plan engaging activities, manage schedules and budgets, and maintain strong communication with families and fellow staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, schedule, and support Kid Zone staff
• Ensure child safety and engagement through quality programming
• Communicate with families and organize family-focused events
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and special events
• Maintain accurate records and department reports
• Assist in budgeting and purchasing program supplies
• Ensure compliance with YMCA policies and safety procedures
• Develop a strong, inclusive team culture aligned with YMCA values
• Ability to work nights and weekends. 

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years working with young children
• 1+ year of supervisory experience
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
• Organized, energetic, and team-oriented
