Position Overview

As a Counter Server, you’ll be the face of our restaurant—welcoming guests, taking orders, running food and drinks, and keeping the space clean and inviting. This is a guest-facing role for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment and values quality, speed, and service.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and upbeat attitude
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using a POS system
• ID guests for alcohol service and responsibly serve margaritas, beer, and other alcoholic beverages
• Package and serve food with attention to presentation and accuracy
• Assist with running food and drinks to tables
• Maintain cleanliness of the counter, guest area, and service stations
• Restock supplies and communicate inventory needs
• Answer guest questions about the menu, ingredients, and allergen info
• Handle transactions and process payments
• Support team members and jump in wherever needed to keep service flowing

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and eligible to serve alcohol in Michigan
• Prior restaurant or food service experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Punctual, dependable, and a team player
• Food Handler’s Certification and Alcohol Server Certification (or willingness to obtain)
