DEPARTMENT: 945 - General Operations

JOB SUMMARY:

The Courier is responsible for ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of internal and external correspondence from the branches and other specified locations. The position will also fulfill and deliver supply orders to the branches. The Courier will ensure security and confidentiality of all materials and information is critical. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Sort mail, packages, and other items in a timely fashion, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery. 
• Deliver and pick up of transactions, internal and external correspondence, and other items among various Bank locations. 
• Make pick-up and deliveries to the US Post Office and other outside establishments as needed, including local business and client locations.
• Fill and deliver branch supply inventory requests. 
• Maintain security and confidentiality of all correspondence and information at all times. 
• Maintain the company vehicle at all times keeping it clean and making sure routine maintenance is completed. 
• Drive in a safe and appropriate manner, obey traffic laws and regulations, maintain a valid driver's license. 
• May store and retrieve files for various departments as needed, understanding required record keeping inventory and document destruction. 
• May assist Security Officer with document destruction based on pre-determined record retention schedules.
• Interact and communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization. 
• Comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements that are applicable to this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. 
• Previous courier or delivery experience preferred. 
• Valid driver’s license as required by state law and possess a safe driving record. Must adhere to Company’s Vehicle Usage Policy. 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Duties are performed in a professional office environment.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
