Job Title: Part-Time Custodian

Hourly Pay: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Location: Hope Leadership Academy

Job Description:

Hope Leadership Academy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and meet high cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.


• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove trash as needed.


• Restock restroom and classroom supplies.


• Ensure hallways and entrances remain tidy and free of hazards.


• Assist with minor maintenance tasks and report larger facility concerns.


• Set up and break down spaces for school events as required.


• Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a sanitary school environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not required.


• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.


• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.


• Must pass a background check.
