Job Description - Customer Care Specialist - Part Time
Shamrock Roofing & Construction is a family-owned roofing and construction company headquartered in Kansas City and has been operating since 1977. In the last few years, our business has exploded in the Midwest with additional locations in Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma, Texas, and now Arkansas. This growth has allowed us to expand our team and offer more employment opportunities at home and surrounding markets. Although we’ve grown exponentially, we haven’t lost the “family-owned” business feel.
We are now looking to fill a Customer Care Specialist - Part Time position. This position performs outbound calls to potential and current customers to provide updates and/or other relevant information on behalf of our sales specialists. This position will require working closely with our sales team to ensure accurate, effective and quality communication.
Job Description
Make outgoing calls to current and/or potential customers to deliver important updates and communication throughout the course of their roofing claims or repairs.
Serve as Shamrock’s professional representative when dealing with customer communications: via phone, email, etc.
Possess strong knowledge of our roofing products and services to identify customer needs when communicating with them.
Document each call as per company and departmental policies and procedures.
Follow up with current and/or potential customers in a timely manner.
Apply a positive customer service attitude in interactions with all customers. Be able to establish a positive rapport.
Be patient and understanding in all customer interactions.
Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
Compensation & Benefits:
Bilingual a plus!
Part-Time Position, in office mainly!
We are hiring multiple candidates to cover Monday - Sunday from the hours of 8a-8p.
Flexible shifts of 4 - 8 hour shifts
Get your scheduled 2 weeks in advance
Compensation: $12-$15/hour
As part of our candidate selection process we like our candidates to conduct recorded One Way Video Interviews with a set of brief questions that we ask in order to get to know you better as a person and candidate! These are informal, and meant to be more laid back in nature to get to know you.

Complete a brief one way video interview for the Hiring Manager and Recruiting Team to review before meeting with you.
Phone Interview with Recruiting Team
In Person Interview with Hiring Manager
Requirements:
1-3 years as a customer care specialist or representative experience
Knowledge of spreadsheets (Shamrock uses Google Business Suite) a plus
Great written and verbal communication skills
Excellent goal-setting, and motivation
Good problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
Exceptional organization, time management and multitasking abilities
Good with computers and have a quiet environment to work from
Keen attention to detail
