Front Desk/Customer service

Reports to: Front Desk Supervisor
Status: Part-Time & Full-Time/ Non-Exempt
Job Purpose: You are an integral part of the Front Desk Department, responsible for providing exceptional customer service. Your attention to detail and adaptability create a positive experience for both clients and staff.
What you will be doing:
Communication- Relay information to clients and staff both in person and over the phone
Customer Service- Provide assistance to clients in a positive and professional manner
Organization- Manage multiple tasks at the same time in an accurate and timely manner
Process – Ensure accurate payments, implement policies and procedures as indicated by training and our SOP
Support- Ensure safe handling of animals, and assist grooming with basic services
Culture - Foster an open and inclusive work environment by modeling NB Behaviors and values, consistent with the vision and mission of the organization. Maintain a safe work environment by following NB protocols and policies. Work with NB team member in a positive and effective way to advance the mission of NB.

What we are looking for:
Experience – Minimum of one year of customer service experience and knowledge of various kinds of leashes, collars, and harnesses preferred.
Decision Making- Ability to think on your feet and make informed and educated decisions as it pertains to the client or situation
Adaptability - Ability to work in a professional and positive manner with high attention to detail in a variety of situations.
Schedule - Regular, predictable attendance, punctuality and availability to work during operations hours as defined by management which include working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical & Emotional Capabilities – Must be able to handle the physical and emotional aspect of work in an animal boarding environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Computer Skills- Strong computer skills, experience with reservation software preferred
