Customer Service / Operations Associate (Part-Time)
Location: Torrance, CA 90502 Schedule: Approximately 29 hours/week (Core hours: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, flexible) Compensation: $20–21/hour Employment Type: Part-Time Temp (Potential Full-Time opportunity based on performance after approximately 6 months)
About the Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Customer Service / Operations Associate to support our growing business and newly acquired client accounts. This role plays a key part in ensuring order accuracy and maintaining smooth communication between the office and warehouse teams.
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team environment, pays close attention to detail, and is proactive in identifying and preventing errors.
Responsibilities
Perform double and triple checks on picked orders to ensure accuracy
Compare order information against picked products and shipping documents
Support quality control and inspection processes
Coordinate with warehouse staff and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
Assist with newly launched client accounts and support existing accounts as needed
Provide operational support for special projects and additional accounts
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Assist with basic administrative tasks using Excel and Word
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications
Required
Previous inventory control, warehouse, logistics, or operations experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with warehouse and office teams
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Bilingual Japanese and English
Experience in customer service or operations support
Experience working with inventory or fulfillment processes
