Job Description - Data Catalog Tooling Onboarding Senior Analyst

ManpowerGroup has partnered with a leading Financial Services organization in the Tampa, FL area for a contract to hire Data Catalog Tooling Onboarding Senior Analyst to assist their team. Future onsite work is required as per CDC and client guidelines for safe return, local candidates or able to relocate encouraged to apply!  



Job Title: Data Catalog Tooling Onboarding Senior Analyst

Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Position type: 12 months with high possibility of extension/Conversion



Description:

We are seeking an experienced candidate to join our global team of talented technical onboarding specialists to educate, influence, and support users with onboarding and utilizing Data Catalog tools to satisfy their business and technical metadata requirements. This is a senior level role, with an expectation of excellence in delivering your own individual contributions, but also acting as lead to junior members of the team.



The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

- Produce and maintain written documentation and scripted demos for new product features.

- Provide second-level (L2) support to end-users, as well as maintain run books for first-level (L1) support teams to follow.

- Partner with development team & product management BA team members to ensure appropriate knowledge transfer for new product enhancements, L3 escalations, feedback sharing, etc.

- Build relationships with end-user groups to promote increased usage of Data Catalog capabilities and solicit new use-cases.

- Partner with project management team members to handover new use-case requirements from existing users, and to introduce new users to Data Catalog through guided product demonstrations.

- Perform ad-hoc data analysis queries.

- Design reports (metrics, operational, quality, etc.) for internal and external consumption.

- Coordinate and communicate system changes as part of release management duties.



Requirements:

- Located within a commutable distance to Tampa, FL and able to adhere to a minimum schedule of three (3) days physically in office per week.

- Bachelor of Science or Masters degree from a leading university.

- 15+ years total work experience with a proven track-record of stability and growth.

- 5+ years recent experience in a management capacity, with direct supervisory experience in a technical sales/support setting.

- Rich experience in a technology organization, specifically software development.

- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where fire-drill assignments are not uncommon.

- Uses diplomacy to maintain high client satisfaction levels.

- Strong communication skills - written and spoken.

- Eagerness to engage in thoughtful debate and challenge the status quo.

- Organized, and possesses a data and system-driven mindset and approach to work.

- Keen ability to eliminate noise and simplify problems, ideas, and communications.

- Puts the project and team as a priority.
