East View is a leading provider of native and translated foreign language information products and services, including Slavic, Chinese, and Arabic databases, print periodicals, and books. We serve all geographies and many market segments, including academic institutions, government organizations, corporations, public and federal libraries and law firms.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual as our part-time Data Entry Specialist for primarily data entry and scanning duties. This position works to support the Operations team procure, fulfill, and support orders for academic, public and government libraries all over the world with foreign-language books, movies, atlases, etc.

Duties:

Data entry of books, atlases, and other materials using established standards
Uploading and updating data in East View’s internal product database
Scanning of documents for cataloging personnel
Data searches and internet research
Provide professional internal customer service and problem resolution as needed

Requirements:

Meticulous attention to detail
Quick and accurate typing and word processing skills
Adaptable to changing priorities
Intermediate or higher English knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

Intermediate knowledge or higher of a foreign language – especially (but not limited to) Korean, Armenian, Ukrainian, Russian, Polish, Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Czech, Slovak, Macedonian, Albanian, Georgian, Belarusian, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Romanian, Turkish, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Slovenian or Greek.
Fluency in English
Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel

Workplace Detail

This is an onsite position located in Minnetonka, MN near Hopkins Crossroads/Hwy 394
This position would comprise of 15-25 hours per week, with some flexibility (hours will fall between 9-5, Monday-Friday).
Perfect for students with free time in their weekday schedules or parents looking to work during the school hours.
