Job Description

Firespring is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a delivery driver. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face (and driver) of Firespring, ensuring our clients receive deliveries on time and with care. The typical route includes daily deliveries throughout the Omaha metro area—especially to the downtown post office—with occasional trips to our Lincoln headquarters. You’ll need a valid driver’s license, familiarity with Omaha streets, and a knack for staying organized in a fast-paced environment.

This role is more than just driving; it’s about being a dependable part of our team. Strong communication and time management skills are a must, as you’ll play an important role in delivering a positive experience on behalf of Firespring.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Make timely deliveries and pickups to/from client and vendor locations 


• Perform quality checks to ensure all items are properly loaded


• Assist the shipping and bindery teams by shink-wrapping and organizing delivery pallets (upwards of 10)


• Occasionally serve as a backup driver between Omaha & Lincoln


• Provide occasional backup support to the Shipping Manager and Receiving Specialist


• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation


• Perform general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Flexible schedule to accommodate quick-turnaround projects.


• High level of reliability and punctuality


• Comfortable operating a dock-high straight truck (No CDL required)


• Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly


• Basic computer skills


• Valid driver's license and knowledge of navigating Omaha's streets


• Familiarity with pallet jacks and general warehouse equipment
