Delivery Driver (Part-Time)

Crane Engineering is a family-oriented Midwest based company. As a result of our growth, we have a need for a part-time Delivery Driver to deliver and pick up parts and equipment. Route of deliveries and pick-ups are Wisconsin state-wide.

What You’ll Do

• Demonstrate and promote Crane’s core values (Act with Integrity and Respect, Foster Teamwork, Focus on the Customer, Strive for Excellence and Innovation, Project Passion and Energy and Have Fun).
• Follow delivery driving routes and time schedules.
• Perform loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting and operating delivery vehicle.
• Assist preparing shipments in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements and specifications. 
• Verify outgoing deliveries for correct materials, packing, crating, tagging, and handling instructions, loading and bracing. 
• Maintain a clean work environment while following DOT and safety regulations. 
• Assist with accurately preparing required customer and Crane documentation.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver’s license
• Must be able to meet CMV (commercial motor vehicle) requirements – Non CDL
• Ability to follow verbal instructions 
• Positive, forward-thinking individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image
• Well-organized and self-directed team player
• Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 60 pounds. 
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing 

Delivery Driver position is part-time 16 to 20 hours per week and has a competitive compensation structure within a values-focused culture.
