Our dental office is seeking for a motivated, skilled and dedicated dental assistant to join our team. We strive to provide exceptional dental care in a warm and welcoming environment. Ideal candidate should be skilled, knowledgeable and professional with excellent communication skills to ensure a positive experience for our patient. This position requires a strong understanding of a dental terminology and procedures, as well as proper infection control protocols. Excellent time management, capacity to multi-task, ability to work independently, and willingness to learn continuously are necessary qualifications. Open Dental experience is helpful and experience with digital xRays and modern technology is needed.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during examination and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area.
- Manage patients records accurately.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Perform medical imaging as required.
- Help to schedule patients appointments and front desk duties as needed, including patient check-in and check-out.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies.
Previous experience is a plus, but we can train the right person. We believe that motivation, willingness to learn, enthusiasm and being a good team player are more important qualities.
Hours are 8:30-5pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Please send cover letter, resume.
