It is the perfect hybrid of Outpatient and Urgent/Emergency Dentistry, serving an underserved and extremely diverse patient population.

We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our team at the Dutchess County Jail in Poughkeepsie, NY.

This position only requires 8 hours of on-site dental care weekly! Shift day is Wednesday's each week

To quickly highlight some key points:

• Hourly compensation is negotiable and commensurate based on experience, rate range is $20-$25 per hour
• Part-Time PTO & Sick Leave package included.

• Preferred to have either an associate's or bachelor's degree in dental assistant from an accredited college or university or two years minimum of experience in the field.
• Licensed dental assistant in the state of New York
• Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to develop a trusting relationship with patients/inmates.
• Ability to monitor, observe and document patients.
