Dental Assistant (Part-Time RDA)

This is a part-time role scheduled to work on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a paid lunch break.

Daily Duties

• Assist chairside during dental procedures (passing instruments, suctioning, ensuring patient comfort).
• Set up and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments.
• Take and record vital signs and patient assessments.
• Perform dental X-rays and other imaging (training provided if needed).
• Maintain accurate digital patient records.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-op care.
•  Support front office operations: welcome patients, schedule appointments, answer calls, and help with overall office organization.

Requirements

• Active RDA license (required)
• At least 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred (we’re willing to train the right person!)
• Quick learner with strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control
• Familiarity with HIPAA and electronic health record systems
• Friendly, professional communicator with a team-first attitude
