Job Description - Dental Assistant / Receptionist

Southport general and pediatric dental office seeking motivated dental and front desk assistant to join our team Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and 1-2 Saturdays per month. Applicants must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, good communication skills and the ability to multitask in treating with patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

- Four-handed chairside assisting

- Infection Control

- Ability to take digital radiographs

- Sterilization of instruments

- Working knowledge of dental software

- Greeting patients

- Ability to answer phone calls.

- Scheduling appointments

- Ability to open and close dental office.

Southport Smiles Dentistry opened in 1990 and has been in its current location for over 20 years. Our office is in a beautiful Victorian-era home built in 1880 and creates a distinct old New England vibe. We are right off I-95 at exit 19 and just over an hour from Manhattan.
