About us
Our lovely Phoenix dental office is looking to add a part-time dental hygienist to our fun and supportive team! We are professional, fast-paced, and patient-focused. Our goal is to provide excellent patient care in a safe and kind environment for our patients and employees.
One part-time position is available for Mondays and Wednesdays 8:15-6:00. Potential for one to two Fridays a month from 8:15-2:00, if interested.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Reviewing and updating a patient’s dental/medical history
- Clean accretions, calcareous deposits, and stains from teeth and gums
- Examine for indications of oral cancer
- Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health
- Teaching patients about proper teeth cleaning techniques
- Applying fluoride and Arestin treatments
- Taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases
- Scheduling patients back for next recare appointment
- Record clinical note for each patient and complete patient routeslip
- Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
- Restock treatment areas

- Current Dental Hygienist licensure
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Anesthesia certification

ABOUT DR. ANGEL
Amber Angel, DDS, is a family-friendly dentist at Angel Dentistry in Phoenix, Arizona. She’s passionate about her work and strives to provide top-notch dental services to patients of all ages. She has a special talent and advanced training for working with patients with special needs.
Dr. Angel knew she wanted to be a dentist from an early age. She grew up in the quaint town of Hanna, Wyoming, and started her education at the Northern Wyoming Community College District in Sheridan, Wyoming. There, she earned her associate degree in dental hygiene. With this degree, she worked her way through dental school as a hygienist.
Dr. Angel attended dental school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s College of Dentistry and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2001. Soon after, she moved to Arizona to work as an associate dentist before opening Angel Dentistry in 2004.
Today, Dr. Angel keeps up on the latest research and advancements in dentistry, and she also attends the yearly Western Regional Dental Conference, where she takes courses for three days. Additionally, she is trained to use the Gemini™ laser and holds memberships with the American Dental Association and the Arizona Dental Association.
At Angel Dentistry, Dr. Angel provides a soothing atmosphere in which she and her team can perform many common dental services, always keeping excellent customer care in mind. She offers teeth cleanings, Opalescence™ Boost™ teeth whitening, custom night guards, root canal therapy, ClearCorrect braces, custom veneers, dental implants, and more.
